Splish Splash

A good friend of mine (K) took N's four year pictures recently. (Both of the photos on the right hand side of the blog were taken by K.) At the end of the session I let N play in some puddles and K got pictures of it. She does such a great job of capturing the moment. K knows how I like to play around with photos, so she gave me all the puddle pictures so I can make them into a collage. Here's what I came up with.

You would not believe how many people stop and comment on L's curly hair when we are out. He's a total chic magnet with this super cute curly cue hair. Check it out.

Phrases of the week

N's phrases this week, which he has been repeating over and over, have been the following. For some reason I never get tired of hearing him say these. I laugh every time he says them.

Oh Ma Gosh (said really fast)

Friday Funnies

Father's Day Conversation:

Me: N please use the potty before we leave the house to meet family for brunch.

N: But I don't have to go, Mom.

Me: Just try. It's a long drive, so please try.
N: But it's Father's Day, Mom. We don't need to potty on Father's Day.

The kid will come up with any excuse not to stop what he's doing to go potty!

The other day the boys and I were driving across town. N was riding very quietly. I was enjoying the silence. We drove past a gas station and N says. "Mom, we don't need to stop at the gas store (gas station) 'cause we got gas, Baby. Lots and lots of gas, Baby."

The other day I was talking to my friend Alison on the phone. When I got off the phone N asked me who I was talking to. I told him Alison and he said, "Is she in Wonderland?" Had to laugh!

Here's a funny picture of N. He does NOT like to get his face wet in the shower or bath tub. I've always given him a wash cloth to cover his face, but after we bought these big goggles (for a trip to an indoor water park) he went through a phase where he insisted on wearing them in the shower.
